Face to Face courses are available in your own locality when they have been commissioned by your employer/ICB. Your training hub will be able to advise you whether these are currently available in your area.

This course is suitable for health care professionals who are caring for people with COPD. The course is very practical and has been designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to be able to provide gold standard care to the person with COPD from the point of an accurate diagnosis and ensuring that effective management strategies are implemented throughout the disease trajectory.

There are no formal assignments, but the course provides formative assessments, so you can evaluate your learning and knowledge.

The certificate can be completed by via eLearning through our virtual learning environment (VLE). Here you will have access to PowerPoint presentations with audio, interactive quizzes, and resources. You will also have access to email, telephone support or 1-2-1 ZOOM tutorials if required. You will be able to access the course for 3 months from enrolment, however one extension can be given at no additional cost, and additional extensions for a small administration fee. There are no set start dates to for the eLearning route allow for flexibility.
